The Project
Turning a complex idea into a simple visual story.
Dr. Bianca Thurm is a physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience whose work includes supporting patients with body image disturbances and eating disorders. From the beginning, she knew her identity needed to do more than look professional — she wanted the logo itself to communicate something meaningful about the people she works with.
Through conversations, meetings and plenty of exploration, we developed a concept around the contrast between perception and reality.
The Approach
Perception, distortion and what remains true.
The final mark uses two interpretations of the same triangle to tell that story. In the background, the shape becomes distorted and gradually fades, representing the altered perception her patients may experience when looking at themselves.
In front of it sits a strong, defined triangle — Bianca's mark — representing clarity and the reality that remains even when our perception of ourselves becomes distorted.
The result is intentionally simple at first glance, with a deeper meaning that connects directly to Bianca's work and the people she supports.
